Terms of use

For students and parents

• Posting a requirement is free.
• You agree to be contacted by up to seven verified teachers on the number you provide.
• Fees, timings and any agreement are strictly between you and the teacher. The Classwide does not collect tuition fees.
• You confirm that any requirement you post is genuine and that the contact details you provide are your own or belong to the parent or guardian posting on the student's behalf.

For teachers

• You must submit genuine identity documents. Fake or borrowed documents lead to permanent suspension without refund.
• Coins are a prepaid credit used to unlock leads. Lead prices change over time as displayed on the platform.
• The Classwide does not guarantee that a student will respond or hire you.
• Misuse of student contact details, spam, or harassment results in immediate suspension.
• You are responsible for how you conduct tuition, including your own safety checks, background verification of the family where relevant, and compliance with any local regulations that apply to private tutoring.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create a teacher account or a customer account on The Classwide. A parent or guardian may post a requirement on behalf of a minor student.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use The Classwide to post false information, to scrape or resell data obtained through the platform, to contact users outside the intended purpose of a match, or to attempt to circumvent the coin system. Accounts found doing any of this may be suspended or terminated without notice.

Content you submit

You retain ownership of the content you submit (requirement descriptions, profile details, documents). By submitting it, you grant The Classwide a licence to display it to the other party in a match (for example, showing a requirement to a teacher who unlocks it) for as long as your account or listing is active.

Limitation of liability

The Classwide is a marketplace that connects students and parents with teachers. We do not employ teachers and are not a party to tuition arrangements between users. This describes our role; it does not exclude or limit any duty, liability, consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Users remain responsible for their own arrangements and conduct.

General

The Classwide may restrict or suspend accounts for suspected fraud, safety risks, abuse, or breach of these terms. Where reasonably possible, we will explain the reason and provide a way to contact us for review. Pricing changes will be shown on the platform before a purchase. These terms are governed by the laws of India. Nothing here removes any consumer forum or other venue available under applicable law.
