Yes, completely. Posting a requirement costs nothing and there is no commission on what you pay your teacher. We earn only from teachers, who spend coins to unlock a requirement they want to take up.

Every verified teacher is updated the moment your requirement goes live, so most people hear from the first teacher within a few hours. A day is normal. If nothing has happened in 48 hours, call us and we will push it to more teachers.

Every teacher must submit an Aadhaar card before their profile goes live, and an admin reviews it by hand, usually within a day. Many also add their degree certificate, PAN or address proof. A teacher who has not cleared that review cannot see your contact details at all.

Yes, and you should. Almost every teacher on The Classwide offers a free first class. Sit in on part of it if you can. A teacher who knows the subject cold but cannot hold your child's attention for forty minutes is the wrong teacher, and one demo tells you more than any CV.

Yes. There is a preference field on the requirement form and teachers see it before they decide to get in touch. Plenty of families ask for this and no teacher takes offence.

You are under no obligation to hire anyone. Say no thank you and post again whenever you like: it stays free. If a particular teacher behaves badly, tell us and we will look into the account.

It depends on the class, the subject and your city, and you agree the fee directly with the teacher; we never take a cut. Putting your monthly budget on the form helps, because teachers can tell straight away whether it is workable and you avoid wasting each other's time.

Create a profile, confirm your email, and upload your Aadhaar card. An admin reviews it, usually within a day. Once you are approved you can see live requirements and unlock the ones you want.

An Aadhaar card is required. A PAN card, degree certificate and address proof are optional, but profiles carrying them get approved faster and tend to be trusted more by parents.

Report it from the lead page within 7 days: wrong number, or a student who never existed. We review it, and if it checks out the coins you spent go back to your balance.

Coins are the credit teachers spend to unlock a requirement. You buy them in packs from your wallet once you are signed in, and larger packs carry a bonus. Exact pack prices are shown on the Buy coins page in your account.

No. Coins stay in your wallet until you spend them.

UPI, debit card, credit card or netbanking, handled securely by Razorpay. We never see or store your card details. Coins land in your wallet as soon as the payment clears.

Coins are non-refundable once bought, with one exception: if you were charged but the coins never arrived, send us the payment ID and we will either credit the coins or reverse the charge within five working days. Coins spent on a lead that turns out to be fake are returned separately: see the question above.
